Global Gems
A Photographer & Creative originally from Sydney, Australia sharing some of the hidden gems I’ve discovered from around the world as well as some travel hacks and stories from along the way!

My work is dedicated to documenting lifestyle & travel as Global Gems. I started Global Gems not only as a way to share my travels, but to also empower others to find their confidence through doing what they love! 

Currently living on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. I completed a Bachelor of Marketing/Media and a Bachelor of Media from Macquarie University, all while travelling and working full-time on projects with clients.

My goal has always been to live life to the fullest and to create your own good fortune and happiness which is why I’ve chased what I loved doing from a young age. I know it might sound cliche but life really is too short to be wasting it doing something you don’t love.

As a child I always wanted to be a vet and it’s taken a long journey since then of trying and failing at lots of different paths of life to get to the place I’m at today and to understanding myself as a person. I truely believe it’s more important for you to understand yourself than for others to understand you. This understanding wouldn’t of been possible without putting myself out of my comfort zone.

You can’t discover new oceans unless you have courage to lose sight of the shore.

This is a quote which has always remained a big part of my travelling experience. Especially living in Australia, it took some adjusting to travelling so far away from home as Australia is so far away from so many other countries around the world. Travelling pushes me outside of my comfort zone and encourages me to take new risks and face new challenges however the experiences, stories and people you meet along the way is worth so much more. Travel has changed my life in a way I never thought possible and I hope to inspire others to find what makes them feel empowered and to pursue that wholeheartedly.
